Welcome to my new team captains Zane, Bill, Michael and Mike and to a new team player Joseph. Sorry to see that Dawn has dropped out and I wish her well in her endeavours. My direct down line at present is 6 team captains and 2 team players.

Congratulations to Bill who has signed up 2 team captains to his own down line (my level 2) and also to Mike who has his first team captain.

The best thing you can do is to help and encourage your down-line to build their own teams as this will build your own network. Once you have two team captains under you, your $50 monthly membership fee is covered, so you are playing for free. Team Players can upgrade at any time if you want to earn commissions and play on potentially more lottery tickets.

I got my second monthly report during the week and yes, I had a 3 out of 6 numbers lotto win in December.  It is not a big win but it could have been so it proves that the system does work and all of the reporting is accurate.

The definition of a pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves the exchange of money primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, often without any product or service being delivered.

Above is the definition of a pyramid scheme.  Any time someone says send me a dollar plus a dollar to the ten people on this list and then delete a name and re-send this flyer to 10 people type of thing is a typical example of a pyramid scheme.  Lotto Magic has benefits and offers products and services for the membership fee and pays commissions.

Commission payments to sponsors are no different to a company paying a portion of its revenue out on advertising and marketing services. In fact, is is usually less expensive to pay affiliate commissions than to pay for advertising and marketing services with no guarantee of results.

Pyramid schemes are illegal and they get shut down. Lotto Magic has been operating successfully since 1996. There it is in a nutshell!

I just got my first Team Captain!

A big welcome to Mike G of Kimberly WI. I have sent Mike a personal email of welcome and my commitment to help him build his Lotto Magic team. So, far I have been testing free and low cost marketing methods. This includes safelist mailings, article marketing and traffic exchanges. In case you are new to internet marketing safelist mailings are emails sent to double optin subscribers of a mailing list. It has nothing to do with spam. I hate spam as I am sure you do. Never, ever buy email lists and spam them. If people have not subscribed to your list and confirmed their email address then, do not mail them. Article marketing is the process of writing a newsworthy article (not a sales letter) of around 500 to 600 words and submitting them to the article directories. This gets your link around the internet from your resource box at the bottom of your article and if you have your own website it will get you some quality backlinks to boost your search engine ranking. Traffic exchanges are where you surf the internet to gain credits and those credits are used to show your website (or affiliate link) to the other surfers. My full report is being put together and will be shared here in a future issue.

I received my first monthly report from Lotto Magic and all is in order. The six lotto numbers that will be played for me were detailed in the statement and the latest (December 2008) newsletter announcing two 5 hit winners in November.

If you do something that works well in getting you some signups then share that information with your downline. The more successful your downline, the better your network will grow to reward you.

Are lottery clubs and pools legal?

Yes. States with lotteries recognize lottery clubs and pool playing. Lotto Magic does not sell lottery tickets. Only retailers who have been contracted by the Florida Lottery Commission are authorized to sell tickets. Lotto Magic promotes lottery club play with our computerized system to enhance our club member’s chances of winning. If there are no lotteries in your state, this may be your only way to play the lottery.

Doesn’t the United States Postal Service have rules regarding lotteries?

Yes, several are in the US Code. Sec. 3005 regarding lotteries has been on the books for about 50 years. It was written to prevent people from starting their own lotteries. Lotto Magic is not conducting a lottery — we are merely a club playing the Florida lottery. Another statute frequently referred to is Sec. 1302 - Mailing lottery tickets or related matter. We do not mail any lottery tickets or Florida lottery materials through the mail.

How do I find out what numbers you are playing for me?

You will receive a welcome letter that will have your numbers on them. Each month you will also receive a report that shows the previous month’s winning numbers, your team members and their lotto numbers, your enroller bonuses, commissions, and winning ticket profit sharing. Your account balance will be shown as well as how much money is needed to renew your club membership for the next month. Winning numbers can be verified on the internet at www.flalottery.com, the official website of the Florida State Lottery.

Can you guarantee any winnings?

No. With all state lotteries, there are many losers compared to the few winners. No one can guarantee a winner. History has shown that the club method (or pooling) of lottery play produces more winning tickets than any other method. Being patient and playing the lottery through a club gives you a better chance of being part of the jackpot prize.

Who is eligible to join Lotto Magic?

Our club has members worldwide. The only requirement to claim a prize in a lottery is that you are 18 years of age (and have a winning ticket!)

Can I play my own numbers?

Yes, however, we don’t recommend it. We also will not play your selection if another Lotto Magic member has your numbers. This is one of our computerized advantages — no duplicate numbers among our members. Our computer system also takes into account past winning number combinations — and does not play them again. According to Gail Howard (author of books on lotteries), past drawn number combinations probably won’t appear for another 1,000 to 1,500 years.
